Since the game hasn't officially been announced, there's a question about just when Madden NFL 22 is going to obtain a formal reveal. The simple fact that nobody appears to understand when EA will unveil the game might mean something. It may mean nothing. It's presumably quite early on for the development group to lose any light on the game. Still, after some rumors sparked up earlier this season, it's been quiet in relation to Madden NFL 22 news.

The pandemic has caused quite a few games during the previous year or 2 to have pushed back. While last year's installment was released during the customary period of year, it makes some sense to expect Madden NFL 22 later in the fall. While some fans of this franchise might be very disappointed if the game does not arrive well before the normal season, a later launch may be fantastic thing. It could mean EA is working on some things it needs extra time, in order to place the finishing touches on something that will win those fans that have grown frustrated about the state of the franchise.

Even though Madden NFL 22's launching has to be a huge win over what EA watched this past year, that does not mean there needs to be some huge new mode. A number of people who are not pleased with the management of this franchise are not necessarily requesting something challenging. In fact, the argument could be made that it is a focus on modes such as Face of the Franchise which has led development in the incorrect direction. Surely, making that mode better and more fascinating will help. Not everyone wants to play the franchise style or Ultimate team all the time.

There also might not be a mode that obviously needs an improvement in Madden NFL 22 than Face of the Franchise. It does not need to be built from the bottom up, it just must have more attention paid to it. EA had a fantastic idea when it given up the ability to take a player from high school and college to the pros. When the style culminated in Madden NFL 20, it seemed like quite a great, if unfinished measure. Then this past year's version appeared to be a significant step back. A souped-up, improved version of that mode will go a long way towards creating Madden NFL 22's launch a big win over it's predecessor.
