But in any case: what are your thoughts on the use of anachronism in Runescape, technologically and name-wise? By the way, while I dislike anachronism, prefer an atmosphere reminiscent of the Dark Ages and don't like real-world names in the fantasy world, this article isn't about these issues, but rather an attempt to start an open discussion about them.
Hello! I was looking for some random information when I came across this message board. It kinda related to me quite a bit and it hit me hard. I didn't stop playing Runescape after reading the article, however I need to keep my limits in mind. Wow. He says he is active on average 10 hours per day. That's a lot of time even for me. I don't know if he is exaggerating about this kind of thing. (Can anyone truly play that long for extended weeks? I apologize for my English as it isn't my first language...
I'm now 19 years old and I played continuously between the ages of 15 and 18. i wasted three years of my life to this DEVIL game. I played runescape from 5-18 hours a day for three years, and didn't miss one day. 3x365 = 10, equals 10'000 hours of time spent playing this evil game. 10'000x 6.5$ minimum wage =50'000$
It happened to me in my freshman year. I was 15 years old, i was a happy boy during my freshman year, played soccer basketball and tennis... until i was introduced to this game with a very bad graphic, called Runescape, at first I didn't like the game and just played it to pass the time. I started to play more and better every day. I was like this throughout my Sophomore year and Junior year.
