Because many people are treating game firms like they're their good, reliable friends. I really don't think I have ever seen this happening out of the gaming community. They do not see them just like any other corporations whose sole objective is only to get your money. If you changed the title from EA into CDPR, curiously enough the comments here will be a lot different. They still release trailers for them? It is Madden, who does not know what they're getting in the product? (And naturally, it is well worth noting that there's a reason that everyone knows what Coca-Cola is...) That's the most corporate-ese Ralph Wiggum"I am helping" bullshit I've ever seen. This is because there are more important things going on and they will not receive the clicks and views they were relying on getting because people's attention is elsewhere. Haha okay EA, I am sure this doesn't have anything to do with the money you want to make off of the game and everything related to encouraging the victims of injustice. There is a lootbox/looting joke here somewhere.Regrettably, the gaming community seems to be filled with sexist and racist men and women. Reddit too, but you would not delete your accounts because some people are morons. Exactly the identical way you wouldn't burn your passport because a few people in your country are brain-dead. Reddit too, but you wouldn't delete your account because some people are morons. I came very close to doing exactly that. I have essentially boxed myself into a tiny corner of reddit that I never depart. It is a matter that's only really widespread concerning individuals playing them. The games sector itself is really incredibly innovative. Super innovative? Didn't they censor Colin Kaepernick's name out of YG's"Big Bank" about the Madden'19 soundtrack? Perhaps you have forgotten that ?

This. EA did a great here by simply taking the side of individuals standing up to tyranny. EA found an excuse to get time to polish a turd. They could claim to be as progressive as they need, but their inner work culture is totally cut-throat, betray your best friend for a bonus and a sports car, internally sabotage your competitors job, kinda civilization. There is a reason people hate EA both internally and externally. It is really pretty popular in Brazil, especially on TV, in regard to evaluations it clearly loses out to football by a fairly wide margin, but I'd say it's on par with the NBA, Tennis and Formula 1 here. For the past years cinemas have even started to show that the Super Bowl in theatres live since it's a pretty major event.

However, it is not a popular sport for folks to play because it demands a whole lot of gear, but there are amateur soccer and/or flag football teams in every city and many universities. I myself played for 5years and then coached my college's group for two decades. Who cares why they are doing it, can we at least respect that they're doing something? I imagine they already sent media coverage stuff to various publications in preparation of launch that trailer, and rather they're probably spending a great deal of time sending mails to say they are delaying it. Edit: Seeing a great deal of comments that are like: Properly they do nothing. To that, I will just reply, they might still be doing less by just silently pushing back any proposed trailer reveals, and that this remains a business twitter which means somebody had to find the tweet accepted on a certain level, so someone did something. It's not a lot, but again... Nevertheless something.
