It is better to merge duplicate contacts with the same name because it may contain different information before deleting multiple contacts from your iPhone. To merge duplicate contacts from your iPhone, follow these steps:-
1. Open the contacts app on your iPhone.
2. Then, find and select the duplicate contact from the list and then tap on “Edit”.
3. Then tap on “Link Contacts”.
4. Now, you have to tap on the other duplicate contact from your list.
5. Then, tap on “Link” which is located on the top right corner.
