These plates are specifically designed according to the left and right femurs, and this is done to accommodate the average femoral neck anteversion. They also ensure stable fixation at the required angle with the use of locking screws. Periarticular Proximal Femur Plate is also used for metastatic fracture and osteotomies of the proximal femur.
