I really rely on my close friends and family. Not random strangers, but my inner circle. No one knows I gamble, because I’m super scared of negative reactions or judgment.

If it’s easier not to tell them, since you know how they’ll react, then don’t. Sometimes it feels like your personal state and comfort matter way more than getting support.

I agree, plus support can also come from like-minded players, which sometimes feels way more valuable than approval from family or friends.
