Follow these steps to use Windows Image Acquisition service if your HP printer won’t scan:-
1. First launch the Run dialogue box by pressing the Windows key and R together on your keyboard.
2. Then type services.msc and then click OK.
3. Then scroll down and double click on “Windows Image Acquisition”.
4. Then check if the Start Type is set to Automatic and Service Status is set to Running.
5. Then click on Apply and then OK to save the changes.
