Locking Volar Plates are intended to be used for the fixation of distal radius fracture. They are designed using medical-grade stainless steel and titanium as they are biocompatible, and are not known to cause any adverse reactions within the body. These plates are applied at the site of fracture during open reduction and internal fixation surgery and are known to allow the patient to move his/her hand right after the surgery. The Locking Volar Plate is also admired for having the ability to prevent angular displacement.
