Out of Rs. 1,59,069 crore collected as GST revenue for August 2023, CGST was Rs. 28,328 crore, SGST was Rs. 35,794 crore, IGST was Rs. 83,251 crore (including Rs. 43,550 crore collected on import of goods), and cess was Rs. 11,695 crore (including Rs. 1,016 crore collected on import of goods).

Centre allocates additional 2 LMT of sugar in domestic quota

India’s foreign exchange reserves at $602.16 bn; up by $708 mn

For the week ended August 11, the foreign currency assets, a major component of the reserves, increased $999 million to $534.399 billion. India’s foreign exchange reserves jumped $708 million to $602.161 billion for the week ended August 11, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) said on Friday.
