The first time I got scammed for something was when rs 2007 gold was trying to train prayer. Dragon bones were a certain cost (I forgot exactly how much) but 9k of them or something were 30m. I saw a man standing at the GE selling 9k dragon bones for 20m or some crazy, so I gave him 20m for what I believed was 9k dragon bones but they were really babydragon bones (9k babydragon bones were only worth like 10 mill or some low amount). Never obtained scammed/lured for anything more than a rune.

My friends dad was able to play about 05 us and was maxed. He received a of whip drops and a med.

Bought membership to the first time, was so excited to receive a dragon weapon, purchased a D Spear when they were 150k-200k ish which was my whole bank at the moment. So I went to sell it at Castle 15, I couldn't wield the spear. Some degree 100 asked me to test it I thought I could trust him because he had great gear + stats for this time but just as I traded him logged out and I sat there waiting for him like an hour before giving up.

I got what was after him or lured when summoning was a thing, I don't remember when. He said he wanted my help and that I really could use the teleport of his predator monster, I stopped from the wildy and expired real quickly.. Lost lots of my own bank, but managed to recuperate from this loss. I hopped and I gave him 200k, he went offline a few moments. I found that friend and asked about it, next day, he didn't even know he was murdered. We moved into his home and he tucked in, everything was gone. He paid me back the 200k, but at the time I still felt scammed.

This might not count since in the end I ended up not falling to buy rs 3 gold for it, but dang I had been shut. Way way back in the Runescape Classic match (I must have been around 10 at the time) some man private messaged me with the name"Runite Monitor" He stated he worked for Jagex and there has been an episode where some reports lost Rune armor and wondered if I'd lost anything. Me (a very low level with just Mith) told him of class I had, I lost total rune and Rune 2H. He said I just wanted to give him my accounts password log out and he would get it back for me within the hour. I neeeearly did, but chickened out at the last second.
